Gemma Hookins, M.A Gemma Hookins M.A., is a qualified play therapist from the United Kingdom who has been living in Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates) for the past 13 years and has been working in a children's’ hospital there for the past five years. Gemma has over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings in both the UAE and the UK. She is currently enrolled at Leeds Beckett University, UK, studying for a doctorate degree and researching the effectiveness of non-directive play therapy as a treatment for childhood anxiety disorders.
